Of bricks and Castle Centers

It's been a while since there's been some major advancements (real life, other projects and all that) but here's some recent tweaks in the Castle Center.

The floor tiling here needs some more work but I think the overall feel of the room works nicely. In rooms with a lot of textures I feel it is better to have variations on similar textures rather than throwing a bunch of different stuff together.

  4. Any update on this? Maybe using 720? Or modern 1080p versions?

  5. I just came across this project. Overall, I really like it and I love the changes you are making. But I gotta be honest, this one post looks like a step backwards.
Aesthetically the colors are clashing, the floor has gone from a smooth marble tile to large rounded clay tiles, and most of all that brick texture just doesn't look right. It's a good texture, but it has a rough and weathered look to it. This is a castle interior; there's fancy trim, large windows, checkered tile floor; it should have a more finished/polished look to it, not a catacomb look.
